The design takes advantage of the adjacent nature park by placing large windows, deck and porches on the private “park” side of the lot, and uses groups of windows in the gables to bring East and South light into the great room. Brick and two tones of stucco are used both inside and outside. Other exterior materials include cedar shingles and copper accents. Inside a modern arts and crafts motive was created using Brazilian Cherry floors and quarter sawn oak cabinets and millwork. Cabinetry, art shelves, desks, bookcases and fireplaces are blended together in a seamless flow of textures and materials.
