Project Description

This exterior photo shows a quaint eclectic cottage that has elements of the shingle style with the cedar shingled second story and eyebrow window. This is a drastic change from the more generic before photo shown.

Opening up the kitchen and living spaces as well as adding all new materials really makes these before and after photos like night and day. This craftsmen style interior now features American cherry floors, cabinets, and woodwork throughout along with granite counter and island tops. This shot from the kitchen really shows how much brighter and warmer this home is than before. The beauty of the cherry woodwork blends well with the warm cream colored painted walls.

This photo shows the coffered beamed ceiling which eliminated the need for the two columns in the middle of the room shown in the before photo. On the wall opposite the fireplace there are built in cherry cabinets with three small squat windows above capped with a continuous shelf above. The pass through window again opens up the living and kitchen spaces and allows for views through the living space out to the water.

This photo shows how the fireplace becomes the focal point of the living space. This arts and crafts creation featuring hand made ceramic tile surround and cherry mantel is flanked by columns and double hung windows.
